Hello i have a 94 z28 6sp i just bought. my problem is after about an hour of driving when the engine gets hot it started to sputter and sounds like a miss. it runs great before it gets hot. so far i have put it in 2 shops and no success. cleaned the whole intake system and fuel filter, checked the cat and other little things. please if anyone can give my some ideas it would be great. thank you

 

check the plugs and wires

 

Sounds like it could be an ignition control module too, they arent too bad to replace either. Little pricey though, I think something like 100$ or so.

my car did the same thing
it was right after i put in new plugs
and it quit after i put in new wires
so hopefully its as simple as that

 

try after checking the plugs and wires but considering you had it at two shops already im sure they looked at those already ... to me it kinda sounds like a o2 sensor or mabey the maf sensor ? could be alot of things
