I know you are looking at an LT1, but I just had my car in the shop for state inspection, and the mechanic said they have a1995 buick for sale with an LS1 in it that just had the rings replaced. He said they want $1,500 for the car. I didn't inquire further as I had no need for it. If you're interested I can PM you their number. Location is south of Kansas City.

An LS1 will wait for the Camaro, I'm going to go LT for the truck. Yeah, more reliable source is worth the extra coin, plus this one has the transmission and everything as well. And, great news! I have someone who wants to buy my motor parts so I'll have the $$ for the motor andECU right off! I may or may not rebuild the motor, original plan was to get one that didn't need it. BUT, I prolly will withing a year or so. For now I'll just put a cam in it.
