Default when slowing down small clicks/pops

98 5 speed manual. When slowing down I hear small pops or clicks coming from underneath the car. What could that be? I think its misfire or gasses in the exhaust.

I should change my plugs. I've been too lazy to do it. Pain in the butt job.

yes, change your plugs from under neath.. way easier.. or if you want to pay someone to do it, heres a tip. cause its a pain in the butt to change them, find a shop that has set rates for tune ups.. That way, they can`t charge you more then the price they say for a v6 tune up. and you know it will cause them a headache..

One thought rolling around in my head is for the high school auto shop to change the plugs. All I have to do is supply the parts. Trouble is it usually takes too long to get an appointment.

Changing the fuel regulator did the trick. Runs perfect.
