Don't expect much of a highway cruiser though if you go this route.
The 4:11 is about as low as you want to go if you plan on driving it on the street,at least as a regular driver and not strictly a street rod.
Even then it will be pretty low geared for the freeway but that's the sacrifice you make for a quick 1/4 mile on the cheap.
4:56 gears will really make it scream down the 1320 but forget about driving it on the freeway very far.
Close but i would say Nitrous is your biggest bang for buck.

the quickest 1/4 time that I have seen out of a stock SS M6(Stock down to the paper filter) was a 12.70!

Much agreed! For a daily driver a 100 shot setup correctly would help out tremendously!

I do have one quick suggestion for those who see this topic looking and considering possible routes themselves. The SLP loudmouth "muffler" is just a polished pipe essentially, there is nothing inside of it like most companies. Mak,e sure you know your local noise laws because i got pulled over and ticketed for a noise ordinance violation. granted i will never go that way home from work again but it should be considered when purchasing a cat back exhaust. Dont get me wrong i like the sound I just did not expect to be paying more on top of the cost of the exhaust itself.

Mebbe but it kinda depends on how often ya use it.

Assuming they don't break you only pay once for the gears.

Facts only please. I dont think there are any factory LS3 camaro's running high 11s or even low 12s for that matter. Keep in mind that experinced drivers are pulling high 12s in good air and in good conditions. Hell the C6ZO6 with close to 100 more horse power in a far lighter car runs high 11s.

For a good driver and a good track on a bone stock 5th gen should run 12.8-13.0, Under perfect conditions and experienced drivers have pulled off 12.7 runs.
