Default what clutch to choose?

i have a 2000 ss 6 spd with about 110k stock with just a k&n intake on it and it needs a new clutch. i was wondering if anyone could help me in picking one that would be right for what the car is. its not raced but sometimes romped on. i don't want to but a clutch that i might think is right but i spent way to much money on or one that i don't spend enough and not be happy with the performance that i want out of it. if anyone can point me in the right direction i would greatly appreciate it.

Basic Concepts beat me to it. If you want the best bang for your buck, get a CenterForce Dual Friction. It will run you a pretty penny but will be worth it in the end

Centerforce clutch rules in the V6 world but my research says it is not the best at anything in the V8 world. There are a lot I mean a lot more players in the LS1 world. We had a post about it a few weeks ago which made me do the research and I found they where right. I will look to see if I can find the post.

Ok here is what I found,,, For non-track hard driving clutch with some street manners the Spec stage 2 clutch seems to get the most praise. Funny cause in the V6 world the Spec 2 is concidered a waste of money. I guess, like everyone else, they do not take v6 seriously

Spec clutches are great if mods are minimal...good for daily driving. I use a RAM clutch, but I have a decent amount of mods, it'll hold up to about 500 horsepower.
