why would labor be more costly on an ls1? its per hour everywhere you go, and the ls1 really doesnt take any more time than any other motor.

anyways, the ones i posted were boltons from summit, usually about the same across the board.

back to what spartan was saying about the horsepower i just put my 99 ls1 auto on the dyno yesterday and it has nothing but a k&n air filter for right know and it put down 312 rhp and 369ft.lb.

 

whats your point? 312 and 330 were two different numbers last time i checked seperated by 18 other numbers.

Spec Mitchell Ondemand5 is a program that has a whole database about maintenance and repairs and has a section that listes the time a repair is rated at, now i know thats not accurate but it seemed to be a bit longer in the LS1 department than the LT1 but thats on engine work not anything else, id suspect everything else is the same because the cars are basically the same everywhere else.
