It's actually not too bad from what I could tell. The drivers side gasket looked like it had a break between the front most piston and a water jacket. The piston itself has burn marks from water on it. Hopefully we have found the culprit. I can't afford a new block or heads... Lol

I'm sure its fine, cut gaskets do happen from time to time.

Are the head bolts on the v6s torque to yield? You may need a new set when you put it back together

Went ahead and bought head bolts when I bought the head gasket set. All in all cost me $85.

Was it the upper right water jacket? The metal on the block looks stained, unless that's picture glare.

I don't see anything that points to something being seriously wrong. It sounds like you just plain got a gasket. At least its not an expensive fix
