Weird smell

Okay when I drive my 96 z28 I start to smell plastic burning idk what it might be. I don't think this is normal any thoughts.

do you have any mods? after i put my headers on i could smell the same thing. wasn't long before started running like crap and threw a code and of course, i burnt the crap out of a plug wire

It's all stock, it could be a burnt plug wire.

If you have headers them yea make sure the wiring harness is not getting burnt. There is one that runs along the inside fender well. I'm glad you don't have gas.

I still smell plastic burning i was wondering if it was the head gasket. Maybe it's burnt, idk i'm no mechanic. My mechanic is in vacation right now so i don't know what it could be.
