Value of a 1972 Z28 ???? help
I am thinking on purchacing a '72 RS/Z28 split bumper Camaro. I would like to get other peoples thoughts on what this car is worth. From what I was told, it is an older restoration. Pretty straight body, only a little rust on the lower 1/4 panels and a couple minor spots around window, and an some imperfections on the hood where slight putty is cracking do to an aftermarket hood scoop being added. I am told interior is very nice, very solid frame, rebuilt numbers matching motor. Could probablly use a full repaint, but can probablly get away with only spraying a few areas and wetsand/buffing the rest of the car. Seats have no rips and are nice and newer carpet, good dash. I am going to see the car shortly but I wanted to get advice about it before I make an offer. I believe there were only 2500 made in this year so I am thinking it may be worth alot but not sure. thanks and I'll post details after I look at it.

RE: Value of a 1972 Z28 ???? help
I love the 70 to 73 split bumper cars.As for the price they are going up.I looked at one at a classic car sales place and they wanted 10,000 for it.The body was fresh but the engine compartment and interier looked like crap.I did not buy the car but noticed it was gone a couple weeks later. The split bumper cars are getting harder to come by so I would say if you could get it for around 8,000 to 10,000 it would be worth it....
