Updates and records of my car.
it happens to us all an the best of them too, the 3800 needed control arm an sway bar just to pass inspection ,an 4 rust holes patched an permatex undercoated it too ,it will need struts front brakes soon ,tires next year so don't feel to bad, mine was driven in the snow too it had to be ,or not stored much ,so now it will get some tlc no more snow ,salt is real bad ,I can tell I had the front gound effects on the car ,its got ripped off at some point ,mabey the dummy who drove it in 4 inches of snow or hit something with it,like you it runs good no leaks from the engine area,to look under the 95 over to the 99 is like night an day ,but the undercoating now helps

check your local wrecking yards for a used rear unit. easier and cheaper to change the whole thing. can also get lucky and find a 342 stock setup. if memory serves me, any rear uniti from a 87-02 camaro will work. only thing is traction control, if yours is a non traction control rearend you will want the same if its a tc unit you will want one with traction control. tc unit has sensors on both rear wheels. non tc unit has one sensor at the center section.
Yeah, we can go that route.
The other route is a remanufactured unit, found this place here that sells a whole remanufactured rear end with TC for $1050.

Yeah. The only thing that has me questionable with the junk yard for this rear end, is that it could be in bad shape like mine.
-edit-
I'll make a stop by the junk yards in Jacksonville to see what shape the junkers are in, and if they've got the option code I need.
I really want to keep the TC, because these old f-body cars aren't that great in rain
