Updates and records of my car.
Alright, just wasn't entirely sure, because I got this isolator in:

It only fits on the small end. I thought the isolator was supposed to go on the upper (larger) end, where it's up in the car.

Cool, thanks

Updates.
So, the part number through GM, and that other one I ordered, are different parts. Through GMPartsDirect, it's correct (the larger, upper isolator). Through the other sites, it's an extra isolator for the lower-portion of the rear springs. I'll be tossing the extra lower one underneath the smaller end of the coil anyway, to further reduce noise and creaks. Might as well, right?
Car is at nationwide getting transmission, motor+tranny mounts, and rear main replaced. Should be back tomorrow, no longer being in margarita shaker mode, hopefully. I'm having them fully test the radiator as well, in case it's even remotely nasty inside, I'd rather not risk a new transmission. Performabuilt sends a transmission cooler, to bypass the radiator entirely, but there's just zero space for that thing under the hood here. Just shy of sawzall-work on making your own stand-up radiator bracket, you can't cram it in there anywhere staying stock.
Still have to find someone to weld on my subframe connectors, and I'll be installing all of the suspension parts, minus the control arm relocation brackets (still haven't bothered to pick up an angle grinder), this week if the car comes back on time.

Okay, got a call back from the shop, seems my rear main seal wasn't leaking at all. Replaced it anyway, but fluh.
They said it looks like the cam position sensor was leaking. Anybody else ever hear or rear of a minor oil leak from a sensor like that? Sounds off to me.

oil pressure sensors are known to fail and leak. is that close to where its coming from. dont have to take intake off to change it. strange that you would have to take intake off to change cam sensor,,, where is it.
