Updates and records of my car.
Yup, FTI street brawler 2800RPM stall.
If I remember correctly, that's a little over 1200RPM higher than a factory unit. Good reasoning as to why the fluid is cooked prematurely running on stock cooling capacity.

i an using raptor blood aka lucas sense burned up parts without cooler, no problems now for 20k+ miles https://transmissioncenter.net/shop/...-raptor-blood/
Just using GM certified DEX VI.
Got the flush done today, decided against the filter just because it's got 2k miles on it. Wasn't anything in the fluid anyway.
I'll bookmark that site craby, next fluid change will be that stuff.

Looks like I get to order that stuff sooner than I wanted to, craby.
On the highway this morning 3rd gear died. Didn't even show signs of slipping. Literally throttled up to go around a truck doing 55 ahead of me, and was given nothing but my rev limiter and watching my speedometer drop. Instant failure.
First and second still shifting strong and holding tight (chirped tires testing that to 30mph right after behind campus once I got here). Looks like something let loose inside, so I'm grounded again. No weird noises, so I'm going to assume my clutch pack is toaster-oonied for whatever reason. I haven't even gotten to have a single Mexico burnout in this thing yet...
Luck of the Irish. Called Alan over at peformabuilt, he's covering shipping to get it to him and back to me. Looks like I'm shucking out R&R, and fluid costs again.

Yup. Well, $460 for R&R after tax, and Alan isn't covering shipping, but he's letting me use his UPS business flat-rate shipping, which is $350 round trip I believe he said.
So we're up to $810, without fluid for this one. Figure 10 quarts of that raptor blood stuff should be good for an empty transmission to fill with, again. Hopefully for the last time, this time.

I'm just hesitant to try any cheap stuff again, I still don't know what happened in the transmission yet. Probably won't find out for a week or two until Alan gets his hands on it.
-edit-
By cheap, I mean brick and mortar store bought standard off the shelf stuff.
