Default RE: True dual exhaust?

yea true, but like my dad's vette has a X-pipe. and it was a mechanic at Nemer dodge that told me, cuz my dad was asking about a true dual on his truck he said "doing that to the Hemi would ruin your warranty, because it would severly weaken 1 bank, making one side of engine stronger. it's bad for most modern day cars, unless the car was engineered for dual exhaust."

so im guessing some cars were designed for it, like vette and what not.. but i have heard quite a few times from different people, that the Hemi would get ruin itself if duals were made w/o a X-pipe.
