True dual exhaust
Just put true dual exhaust on my 79 z28. It is otherwise stock and original. Do I need to adjust the air/fuel mixture to optimize the change in flow? If so, what is the best methodology?
Thanks

I am guessing your engine is using a carburetor. If that is the case, it should work OK without any changes. In a carbed engine all air passes through the carburetor and fuel is automatically delivered according to the air flow. If you made some extreme mods the carb could possibly lean out at high power output and jetting may have to be changed, but the addition of a dual exhaust is not going that far. However; the only way to be sure is to use an A/F meter and run the car on a dyno and see if any changes are needed.
Just get the engine warmed up and take a crusie on the freeway. Then when you get home pull a plug and check the color. If it's not too light colored, then you should be rich enough. If it's too light tan or white you're lean.
