New Guy
Hey everyone, Just picked up my first 2nd gen camaro yesterday. Plans are to put it back together and then enjoy the heck out of it.
Story, purchased from the from the original owner. Car has 49,870 miles on it. He has rebuilt the engine with very good parts and trans, over the last 5 years. As the pics come you will see how clean this car is. Car is a 1980 Z28 4 speed. I have to finish putting it together then am going to drive it. Car has the original paint still on it with 0 rust. Has only seen rain in its life an no hard WNY winters. I will keep updating more as i get this car together this week, then off to find storage before the snow flies. I would put it in my garage but, this is not my only cruiser.

Thank you all, now I just have to figure out how to put it all back together. The only thing I'm stumped on is if there was a spring for the throw out bearing to clutch pedal part that mounts from the chassis to the engine then pivots. I need to buy a book.

I have a 79 Camaro repair manual and its not in there. We were just talking about this about a month ago. I though it went to the subframe. But then 4 months later when I plumbed the brakes I found that the clip for the brake line goes in that hole.
I think it might go to the back drive linkage but I haven't installed mine yet.
