Sorry to revive a dead thread, but have some updates on my transmission leak issue(s)

Am having some problems identifying the leak. The o ring has been replaced but still leaking. Its dripping off the bell housing between the oil pan and trans pan. Its not comming from the trans pan.

Am also concerned about the bubbles on the dip stick, as well as a new issue arrising:

Sometimes on WOT, at high RPM i get a loud bang noise. Sounds like a back fire but i'm not convinced it is. Could it be something to do with the transmission? I don't want to spend lots of money on fixing a leak if the trans is going to fail soon..

Am having constant problems with this car, a real shame only got 60,000miles on it as well

 

sounds like a front seal, pump could be so far gone that it wont seal. when it bangs does the car jump or shutter.

 

Its now making a kind of rattle/bang. 90% sure its comming from the trans as can hear it below the gear stick. It only does it if i really put my foot down and near red line. Is there any chance its something not expencive?

Could a transmission mount cause this sort of symptom? Still shifts fine

 

well, better check the trans mount. usually they dont act up except on wot or heavy take off.
