Default Is there a way to undo cooling fan turn on speed

Hi all, Just picked up a 96 Z28 6 speed and after changing the ECM colling temp sensor and the gauge sending unit and the thermostat and radiator cap I've come to the conclusion that the previous owner must have set the fan turn on speed with a hypertech. the car runs up to about 180-185 or so then the fans kick on and stay on unless I drive the car. The car runs too cool for me andI get lousy heat. I don't want to spend 300 on a hypertech since I need a clutch tires and the rear axle needs something in it too.

Yea, camaro heaters suck. When mine worked it got warm at best. Luckly I live in the Valley of the Sun so we don't get very cold out here.

If the PCM was programmed by a Hypertech, and the tune is still in there, you need to either get the PCM reflashed by someone, or find the Hypertech that tuned the car. Getting a different Hypertech won't help if I remember right.
