If you really are 17, and really own a sixer..........great. if you want to talk hypothetical builds, that's great too; simply state as such.
But, I'll bite for just a second. How many hours or miles are on the present engine?
Slapping F.I. onto a vehicle isn't simply bolting her on, turn the key and away you go. If your motor is tired, chances are that assume you get it installed, you might be able to run 6 pounds at most. And that would yield you how much more WHP? You talk about being 17 and on a budget, will buying premium gas when it's back to $4 per gallon break your wallet? Or, you could just retard the heck out of your timing after going F.I. so you can run regular or mid grade; then where are the benefits of F.I?
Unless you have more $$$, than brains (it's a saying), I would suggest listening to conventional wisdom of the posters here that say.....it's isn't worth the time or money.
