Exclamation Starting Issue

Alright im having some trouble starting my car. The car is a 95 z28. When I get in the car (without inserting the key) everything works. I can toggle lights and everything but as soon as I insert the key to start the car everything cuts off. No power, no radio, no lights, no gauges, and I cant start the car. However if I sit in the drivers seat and rock back and forth a bit the electronics will flick on and off like 6 times and then finally come on and stay on. At this point I can start the car perfectly and It will drive fine. Ive check the battery connections, the alternator connections and the starter and ignition fuses. I also check under the steering wheel to check for any obvious ground issues. Im really at a loss here so any help would be appreciated guys. Thank you!

If it's the VATS causing this, the "security" light in the dash will be lit. Is it?

Alright turns out it wasnt the security system like I thought, I poked around the engine bay some more this morning and saw that the battery ground next to the stock terminal box was corroded. So I replaced that and all is fine now!
