if ur car is a manaul and is has a skip shift. then if u get a skip shift eliminator it will stop it from skip shifting.
WHAT IS SKIP SHIFTING== that is when u r using under 30% throtle it will make u shift from 1st gear to 4th gear... u will know ur car has it when u turn ur key to the on and a lil light in the bottem right on ur dash lights up and says skip shift or of course it makes u skip shift. hope that helps

it is kinda hard to explain but it does, it locks u out of sec then slides u into 4th only if ur babying it in 1st geart and if u wanna know then try it stay in 1st gear shift in the 2-3 k range with ur foot just on the gas when u clutch in the skip shift light should go on then u will b forced to shift in to 4th untill u u clutch in again

ya pretty much i had mine for a month b4 it ever did it to me but u know how us boys r with new toys. i read about it hear then when i started driving like a normal person it did it, but if it does do it all u have to do is clutch it and stick into 3rd or 2 which ever it really isn't that big of a deal at lest to me its not, now if it did it while i was racing we might have a problem..

it would have to fail horribly. i doubt that can happen. one thing to watch out for is that when u use a skip shift eliminator you wont have the gear lockout safety features at high speeds. you could accidentally shift into 1st at 80 mph, ive done it [:@]. the 3-2 shift is common too. to fix that I just turn my hand around and put my palm away from me on the stick so when you pull you cannot really pull it towards ur body. gives u a perfects 3-4 shift every time
