I have a completely stock 2000 Z28 w/ T56. I have the hurst shifter, and i noticed the shifter was tight, but the gears have play in them, lots of play. I know this isn’t normal. The shifter is nice and stable in every gear until i let it go at wide open throttle. Then, the shift **** wobbles and shakes everywhere. I haven’t tested this out past 2nd gear but I know this is not normal. I’m assuming it’s the shifter cup bushing, but my shifter isn’t loose enough for it to be that. So i’m unsure.
