I have a 96, not 94, sorry.

Where is the fuel pressure regulator?

Thanks so much. I have zero doubt that I can fix this car, I just need a little help now and then diagnosing, so I can figure out what it is that needs to be fixed.

If I have to change the opti, do I have to take anything apart on the AC that would require me to have the refrigerant recharged?

Whew.

If its the fuel pump, where can I get one that isnt 450$? That is reliable.

need to know what pump you use in the 96. maybe call a gm dealer and ask what the part number is for your car.

I cant get the car in until thursday, I'll keep you posted.

If its the opti, is there anything I really must know when changing it? I heard something about a dowel or pin that needs to line up with something?

If its the opti, then Im going to put a timing chain in at the same time. Never done that before either, anything specific I need to know about that?

you will need to drop the front of the oil pan to get the front cover off. the water pump seal is a pita to get in correct. theres a sticky on it somewhere. i think its in this section.
