RS Flowmaster Question.

Default RS Flowmaster Question.

well im getting a flowmaster for my rs. someone told me you can only use 80 series. what size should i get ?

Its a personal preference. What sound do you want? Overbearinly loud? Or just a nice tone? Id say get the 80 series, not as loud as the super 44's, but still enough to notice you comming. Cut out your cat if you want some real sound. Pic up so HP and better MPG too. They are pretty restrictive, and make a difference int he sound...

I would go with 2-1/2 inch cat back and 2 1/4 out. This will give you good flow and a mellow tone.

40 series mufflers are ridiculously loud... I can tell you first hand because that's what I have... The 80 series is much more mellow and has a good tone. If you want loud... Go with 40 series... If you want tone... Go with 80... The 80 series are still quite loud if you ask me though

i was told that a camaro rs can't use the 40 series
