Default horn problem

so lately the horn on my car has decided to go off at random times for no apparent reason. tonight i was at work and itwent offwhile i was inside and no one was inside or around the car. also, the left side button (or whatever you want to call it) on the steering wheel is SUPER sensitive but the right side doesnt work at all. im being serious when i say that if i blow hard on the left side, it will go off but if i punch the right it won't. does anyone have any solutions to this?

disconnect the battery, and pull the air bag out. you then can see the buttons that make contact for the horn.

This would be the only thing I suggest also.

No worries, the air bag requires power for lift-off.

You need a new set of horn switches. Got them on ebay for around 20 bucks. What happens is the plastic back of the switch that holds the spring in there to keep the contacts separate dry rots and the spring pokes through allowing the contacts to touch making your horn go off. Hope this helps here an ebay link for the switches.
