im sure a million people posted this but im new i have a 1998 3800camaro and im looking for a farliy inexpensive exhaust i hear flowmaster is the way to go but i see edelbrock is cheeper but on the page it says 93-97 will it still fit the 98 or will it need some modifaction

slowmasters? i wouldnt recommend, but it basically is all personal preference

slowmasters? ok why does everyone feel the need to make this comment. There is nothing wrong with it basiclly is comes down to personal preference and how you want your car to sound

Did you try doing a search?

To quickly answer your question, most people will agree that Flowmasters are the worst flowing aftermarket muffler and they will recommend Magnaflow instead. Go to youtube/streetfire and watch some videos of cat-back exhaust setups and decide what you personally like the look/sound of and decide accordingly to that.

+1, if you are looking for just cheap way to make ur car sound different, flowmasters will be ok. there should be an application sheet for the parts, if they dont list a 98 then they probably will not fit. the 97 and 98 cars are very similar but i am not sure about the exhaust. flowmaster does make a 98 kit though, search around on summit or something for it

man get the magneflow exuast i have a freind that has a camaro like yours and it sounds sweet and you wont have the same exhaust as every car out there.

yep my 98 has some werid muffler look it up on youtube, its under98 v6 3.8l exuasts, and all so check out my 73 SS under primer black 73 chevy camaro SS and check out my other vids
