Replacing a water pump on LT1

So these two small yellow (yellow like on that picrture from Impala SS LT1) o-rings only do - anti-vibration function for the metal coupler from its two sides - water pump side and engine side? Am I right?
And the seal with metal part - is exact that seal that must be replaced using special tool? I will think twice before changing it. Will inspect for oil leaks.


Another one question. What size of the water pump bolts? Is that size in inch or cm?

lol, its sorta hit and miss on these cars, some bolts are metric some are standard, can get frustrating.

if replaceing the water pump.?? ok you talked about it do it now .you should replace the opti spark to an do wires an plugs as the pump has to come out, to do a distrbutor on an lt1 engine the opti spark is right under the water pump , welcome good luck too
