yeah i thought about that but off the line im just lighting the tires up because the 2:73 are giving me way to much wheel speed.

 

A taller gear will allow the tires to spin faster off the line, so you would need something less than 2.73 if you wanted to eliminate wheel spin with gearing, it sounds like you need either 1)a better driver mod, preferably the right foot or 2)a better set of tires (think about getting a good performance radial or even a drag radial)
