Hey, this is my first post on here. Recently, I've been looking for a used car to buy and I've had my eyes set on a 1998 Camaro Z28. I am 15 and a half years old with my temps. I can only comfortably drive one of my parent's cars and it seems to be on its last legs. Another problem: I am 6'6" and 315 believe it or not. I would love to get a '98 Camaro Z28 but I was wondering if it would fit me (legroom, headroom). Thanks!

 

i remember a guy about your hight asking how to lower the seat more, ended up changing to a aftermarket seat. his head was hitting the roof. maybe look for one in a dealer and ask if you can set in it.

 

6'6"/315 at age 15? Holy smokes, do you live near the high power lines, or a nuclear power plant perhaps? lol
I'm 6'3"/220, and when I had 4th gens, with the seat all the way back, my right knee was against the side of the dash. Not much wiggle room. You're likely to not only want a lower seat, but extend the tracks to slide further back too. Or, remove the drivers seat, sit in the back seat, and extend the steering column.

 

,I am 6 ft 5 now 250 I fit ok was 6 ft 6 shrunk an inch after 40 ,you will want to keep the back seat down an lean the seat all the way back is what I do for extra support ,an get used to getting in an out ,yes young guys are getting bigger bigger an bigger ,they need to come back with a big mans car like the 1977 Eldorado flying naked lady was so sweet with 425ci was my first car , I had that what you need is a big mans car like an old 90s car ,you could easely move the seat back in them ,I think you could move it back the seat ,you need like a 98 to 2010 crown vic or mercury ,couse hualing mom an dad around an a z would get old I had an 01 mercury marquise , it had plenty of room plenty too ,if you grow anymore an you will at that age it will become to small for you in z28 ,you are headed for atleast 6 ft 10 wich wont get it ,at that age I was only 5 ft 11 an had 7 inches to go so from 15 to 18 I grew 7 inches I used to get dissy spells they said it was couse I was growing so fast , though I shot up late ,so if you grow like I did you could be 7 feet + bye the time you stop growing then you will need every car you drive modified ,like shack, then its older caddys olds dellta 88,there still out there but hard to find ,but the cown vics are cool with 4.6 l I loved my mercury
