I defiantly wouldn't do that. What would compel you to if you don't mind me asking? Are you trying to find a way to burn out? In not trying to make fun of you just wondering if there was a reason you were asking.
Of course you can,but it's not a very good idea, you might even get away with it once or twice if you're real lucky but it's highly possible the tranny or something else will be destroyed the first time you try it.
Back in the early '70's a buddy of mine had a '57-'58 or so DeSoto and he did burnouts that way lol,it was a beater car so he didn't care if it blew up or not.
You young guys have probably never seen one,it was a Chrysler product and a somewhat upper end lux-o-liner with the big (for it's day) 392'' Chrysler Hemi and push button automatic trans.
That's right the gear selector was push button, this car had weird stuff like that.
The speedometer needle worked like a sideways thermometer working left to right in a straight line,Jim would rev up the O'l 392 then push the D button and the car would just sit there going up in smoke with the speedo needle going in and out as he reved the engine lol.
Those old skinny bias plys would just melt and leave a huge long black stripe on the road as the 6000lb DeSoto slowly started moving down the road in a huge cloud of tire smoke.
That was great fun but don't try it with your Camaro unless you like to buy engines and transmissions.

If you're 16, seriously, have a chat with your dad.
My son is your age and he's been under cars with me for a few years and has been with me when friends were trying to break their project cars in preparation for upgrades. It's amazing what can break on a tired car when you put on some drag radials and hit the launch pad at the local drag strip. Getting a good hook really puts stress on a vehicle.
Just imagine what you are even considering..........
