if i put it to the metal, shifting into 2nd is real nice.... but shifting into 3rd ive hit the revlimiter, and is dropping out of the power band and seems that it needs to shift just a bitearlier..... is there a way to just shift the shift point electronically or is there something wrong with my trans?

 

Try changing the tranny fluid. If that does not help, there is a possibility that previous owners programmed different shift points in the PCM, otherwise there is aprobability of internal problems. Also look for DTCs innvolving the VSS.
