Project L36 Sleeper

I've been working on the tune, she's now very stable on the interstate. Couldn't figure out why it was getting rich at 60mph, turns out I had the pe tables set strangely, doh! Also killed some smurf in a lexus that was trying to screw around with me, wish my exhaust was quieter so I could play around more, it's way too loud, screams at WOT. Also raised the rev limiter to 6300, might have to take it higher, we'll see. I'm worried about pumping up the stock lifters and getting some valve float.
First few runs on saturday will be for WOT tuning, soon as I get it steady, I'll give it hell and see what she can do. I'm worried about my clutch though, it doesn't like my DR's
I've got a lot of locals interested in this thing, I've got the only modified six camaro in the area. Every auto parts store I go to I get someone that wants to ask something about it. "Nice LT1 man, sounds like a big cam". "Screw LT1's, that's yesteryear tech". "HELL YEAH MAN! LS1's Rock!". "Nah, those are dull, too many screwballs run those things". ".....soo, what is it?" "231 cubic inch sixxer". "....damn, that's a six? I've never seen a built six before" blah blah blah, goes forever (ps, I love lsjuans and ltjuans, leave me alone)

Yeah, she's a 231ci 3.8, good little engine.
I can't wait to hit the track saturday, I was goofing around some more today, I'm having a great time driving it. I'm going to do some part-throttle tuning tomorrow evening. I'm very anxious to hit the track, got a grudge match lined up too against my cousin's turbo volvo (shouldn't be a problem, I hope). He's never raced before though, so I expect to tree him.

The clutch is just an oem one that I installed back when I did my first round of mods (gears, exhaust, etc.). The problem is that it slips with the sticky tires, really screws up my 60' foot times. The rear is holding up fine so far, no complaints there.

Nice ride. What size chrome wheels / tires in the Project Sleeper picture? Looks nice. My opinion = body color roofs look better. Were your stripes a decal kit? paint? tasty. I was looking at my stock '96 wheels thinking there's gotta be 2" more width on the outsides and still look great with the body.

The wheels are 17x9.5 and 17x10.5, 315/35/17 rear 275/40/17 front. Stripes were a cheap set of vinyl, cut-to-fit. I'm not a fan of the body-colored roof. Why?
