Default Power steering fluid capacity on a 98 Z28

Hi all,

I have read the post about the fluid capacities and overall it is great but it doesne't specifically say how much fluid a 98 Z28 takes for power steering fluid.

https://camaroforums.com/forum/93-02...acities-70171/

It says

"Power steering fluid: Top off, Type GM hydraulic power steering fluid"

But a line below says

"Changes between 98-02
Power steering fluid for '99-02 is 1 pint "

How much does my 98 have if the 99 takes 1 pint?

Thanks very much

Alex

The difference is '98 and earlier, there was no set amount from GM, it was literally, pour in until you hit the cold mark. '99 GM specified 1 pint. Honestly, I would think there was no difference between 98 and 99+. Thank you for the catch, I'll have to look into that and see if there is a difference.

For now, I'd fill it little by little until you hit the cold mark on the cap.
