Default Power Steering Fluid Leak

I have a 2002 Camaro V6 3.8 with a power steering fluid leak. I've traced the leak from the fluid reservoir hose, then where the hose fits into a metal tube to where the the metal tube/line fits into the power steering pump. It appears to be leaking where the metal line fits into the pump. I assume the gasket is bad. I'm dangerous enough to try to replace the gasket myself but do you have any advice before I attempt to do this? What kind of mess can I make of it? Thanks!

unless they have changed the standard saginaw pump on later models which i doubt, there is no gasket its a flair fitting. either it's loose and needs to be tightened or the leak is draining down from another location. Sick

As Sick mentioned, make sure the fitting is tight. You may also want to check where the hose and the metal tubing join as this is a common source of leaks. The flare nut is made of soft metal and will tend to round off if you use an open end wrench, get the proper size flare nut wrench.
