Which power steering fluid is right for my car? 94 v6. I was on amsoil's site and it recommended their multi vehicle atf. Does my car just take atf in the power steering system? Are there any gm specs I need to make sure whatever fluid I buy should meet? Thanks in advance.

 

You could just go to the local parts store and buy some. Valvoline and Prestone both have their own and are good. No need to go fancy with power steering fluid.

 

thanks, i'll be changing the fluid this weekend and I just wanted to make sure our cars didnt need something fancy.
