Default Oil LEAK HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok so this is my problem. I have been having an oil leak for some time now and I finally got a chance to get someone to work on it. Everyone was telling me that it's the "rear main seal". Well guess what? I bought the damn thing and my mechanic said that it's not that. He says it's something right above the rear main seal. Please help me figure out what this is because I hate putting in oil every 2 days.

Did the mechanic call it "something" or did he say what it actually was?
Above the rear main seal...there is a block plug (like a freeze plug) at the rear of the cam. Or, how about the rear intake manifold valley gasket? Either one of those ring a bell? Have you looked at the rear of the block near the intake manifold to see if it's all coated with oil. Filling the oil every 2 days should be leaving quite a trail for you to see.

your right 3.4L engine. Well I forgot what my mechanic said but he was going to take it to an auto parts store to see if they have it...This really does suck because i hate putting oil in it all the time.

oil pressure sensor/sending unit, intake manifold gaskets and valve cover gaskets would be a good start if u dont want to look to see were the trail of oil leads u.
