i dont think i have shutoff valves at leasts where the picture shows them

no you dont, they are something a dealer shop would have. you would have to make some. i used a pair of wide jawed vice grips and moved the shield up for the fuel lines on the back or tankside so i could get to the plastic lines where the sun and elements had not hardened it. i then folded some cardboard over the return (small) line to reduce the chance of cracking and clamped it closed when i needed to stop fuel flow on it.
