Could be the Alternator, Water Pump, Idler pulley sounds like a bearing is going out on one of them was the tensioner bad? If so and you drove with it bad for a while, it could have caused one of the other problems...

The water pump could be going, is it leaking coolant through the weap hole? Engine running hot? I did the water pump job myself with a reman one on my 95 3.4 the job wasn't too bad, just be sure to rent a pulley puller if you don't have one!

As he stated he already replaced the water pump so thats not it..... Check the condition of the belt its self for any unusual wear. Look very closely in the ribs of the belt for dirt or gravel. Also while the car is running spray the belt down real good with some brake cleaner.

Also take the belt off and spin all the pulleys one at a time to make sure they spin freely and smooth and they aren't loose (side to side) and worn.
