Default no start

I have a 2002 camaro, and my wife was driving it and it just died. I've had an O2 sensor message prior to this. I had it checked and was told it was the fuel pump. Under further investigation we found we had low voltage going to the pump. Car wont start, it acts like it wants to but doesnt. Please help! and if i have to change the pump is dropping the tank the only way?

you can do the hatch mod. https://camaroforums.com/forum/4th-g...-method-54911/ i bet massey would know on the low voltage. i would say before changing pump, look to the fuel pump relay, also check wires and wire connections and the fuse connections. i have moved your thread to the 4th gen section. welcome to the forum and read the rules please. thanks, enjoy.

The low voltage could be due to a bad pump relay, a bad electrical connection, or bad wiring. Could alse be due to the fuel pump drawing too much current, possibly because the pump has gone bad, or it is trying to push fuel through a restriction (clogged filter, crimped fuel line, etc.)

I had another guy run code on it yesterday and it started, we shut it off and it didn't start. Pretty sure it's the pump at this point.
