Hey everyone how's it going? I own a 1968 Camaro that someday will get restored. But, right now I have my eye on a 2000 SS Camaro for my daily driver for the warm months. It's got 71,000 miles on it. Full Hooker exhaust from headers back; new transmission with 2.5 years left on the warranty, SLP intake, and a new MAF. The car also has a custom tune and he had the dyno sheets, the car made about 280 horse at the rear wheels so I guessing the engine is pushing around 340-350 horse. The car looks in great shape and the current owner seems to really care for it. The only cosmetic issues I found with the car are a cracked side mirror, a crack in the dash and the drivers seat has some heavy wear on it. Mechanically the car seemed mint. He started the car up from being ice cold, it did not even have piston slap no strange noises at all. I took the car for a drive and it did not have any handling driving issues at all. I took it down some bumpier roads and there was no squeaking or rattling and the car tracked straight. The clutch is brand new and grabbed like a beast. He was asking $12,000 I got him down to $10,000 I told him I would get back to him by the end of the week, this sound like a good price to get for the car? Here is a picture of it.

Welcome to the forum. Thats a beautiful Camaro. Not sure if I'd pay 10k for it tho. $8,000-$9,000 sounds reasonable. But like craby said, it depends on where you're at. Other than that, I'd say it's a great buy. Good luck
