Default Muffler question or advice

I have a 2002 Camaro Z28, SS, SLP with factory single SS Muffler. It is to quiet.
Is the SLP Powerflo Muffler part #310650800 a good choice for sound without being extremely loud? And is it somewhat louder than the factory SS one? I have seen the smaller resonators from SLP and I think they will be to loud.
Opinions?

check your cats to make sure they is not getting plugged up a bit. long tube headers may liven it up if legal in your state. check on u tube for some recordings to compare. love my corsa exhaust with the lt1 but it does have different sound with ls1

Long tube headers make a big difference especially if you can get away with no cats.
I have the GMMG chambered catback system and it was fairly loud but not too loud before I cam'ed my car and did long tubes and an ORY (no cats y-pipe).
Now I'm looking at something a little quieter, it's still a nice sound at idle but when I step on it it's pretty obnoxious. lol

Thanks for the advise. The car had sat for about 6 months and the fuel was bad. It took about 300 miles of driving and some fuel additive and more fresh fuel for the Engine light to go off. It gave the code for bad cat on right side. So the cats may have some build up. How do you check the cats for buildup?

best way, test back pressure before and after cats. should be little diference. could un hook exhaust at cats if it has a place you can easily do it and see if it runs better. i have heard guys taking 02 sensor out to increase flow and have it run better too.
