You can probably crack an opti if you drop it on the ground and hit it with a rubber mallet a couple of times!

Needless to say, you brought the car in with a bad bearing, the ignition system was fine. Make them pay if they screwed up your opti and harmonic balancer.

Can't there be a phone call made to other shops? I mean, you don't have to tow it to get a quote just yet, but if mom doesn't want to deal with baseballer calling around well...?

My opti cap was cracked andI saw it myself. There was gunk build up on the post nearest to the crack. But this was when my opti went outso it was getting switched anyways, and I was switching caps as well. Just saying it may happen to the CAP.

yeah... more like a couple hundred off ebay...
Ill have to check that out, you mean entier cars not just the motor?

yeah... well alot of LT1s i find are destroyed by idiots who think their car is immune to damage, wear and tear.. Yet they are advertised as driveable... the quality of their drivability is another story...
