Moaning noise from Rear End

Mine makes the same noise, just a faint whine when turning sharp at low speeds. Let me know what you find

sorry in laws were in town and wife needed new struts put on, plan to get to it this weekend. Keep you posted.

Found it squealing bad from the tail housing where the driveshaft goes in. Could it be the seal ora bearing inside or something else? How hard is it to change?

I don't recall ever seeing struts on my wife. Were those an "add on" to put a spring in her step?
As far as the noise, sure sounds like the tail housing bushing could be shot. Never had a seal make a squealing sound before. Were you getting a clunk noise too? A worn bushing can cause that. Hop on youtube and search for tail housing bushing replacement. You should be able to find some tutorial there, that or google. Have you tried a slop test by grabbing the slip yoke and seeing if you can move it up and down or side to side?

There was no clunking noise and really no play on the driveshaft slip yoke, the red seal looks good, the brass colored coupling and shaft all look good from what I can see. I will take out the driveshaft and see if something is inside maybe causing the squeak. Only squeaks when going forward too. Weird.
