Default Moaning noise from Rear End

Recently I have noticed a whining/moaning noise from the rear end. not a grinding noise somewhat high pitch moaning. Hard to describe. Usually heard when going slow and around corner only like in a parking lot. Do not hear it going straight though. Rear shocks are new and diff oil was replaced about a year ago (<5000miles). One piece driveshaft also new.

Gonna take a longer look this weekend but not sure what all to look for any ideas? Maybe something simple like sway bar bushings or could it be something bigger like the wheel bearings?

Sounds like something to do with the LSD since that is normally being worked while going around a turn or from a hard launch. I hate to say this, but I'd pull the cover and take a looksy. And now that I think about it, when you did the fluid change, did you remember to add a LSD additive? Or are you running a V6?

You need new bearings in your diff -- had to do this on both my Camaros -- same symptoms.

However, since you don't notice this going straight, you may have some wheel bearing issues as well -- you need to locate the sound -- stick a passenger back there with a good ear!

If your V6 has the Y87 package it will have a LSD and needs the addative.

Just a thought
