Knocking Noise and Starter Problem

Yeah for sure.. let's see her.
No it's not really a pinging so I didn't guess predet.
No it doesn't go away when the car warms up, however I haven't had it for a warm day cuz I just bought it (in the freakin cold winter)
If I had to put words to it I wouldn't have thought of Piston Slap because it sounds too close to **** Smack and I just keep picturing this guy with his head under the hood and his piston shoots out the engine and destroys his head.
But if I had to put a word to it yes.. Piston Slap would be it. I can only hear it under acceleration, and, maybe i'm retarded I've never owned a V8 before, and my V6 was straight piped and loud as a mother.. but the quicker I go the quicker the **** Smack goes. Maybe that's how it's supposed to sound but I thought the hum of the engine was all I was supposed to hear.

By "goes away when it's warm" I mean when the motor gets warmed up. I realize it's pretty freaking cold where you are and I don't know how long it takes for a car to successfully warm up, but if the sound goes along with engine RPM you should hope that it's piston slap and not a spun bearing or something along those lines. If it doesn't sound like it's pinging, I would drive it around for a reasonable amount of time so you know everything is warmed up. If the sound doesn't go away when it gets warm, take it back to where you bought it and make them deal with it.
