I cant for the life of me find a pair of chrome valve covers for my lt1, every pair i see eather do not have a dent in the front for the alternator or they do not have the correct holes in them for the fittings. If anyone can point me in the right direction id appreciate it.

You'll not find any aftermarket valve covers with the little indentation for the alternator. Believe me I've tried!! I eventually went with the Proform set and I had a friend of mine fab up a bracket that would raise the alternator an inch and a half to clear the valve cover.
