Default How much brake fluid to bleed?

Hello everyone,

I figured I would come here, since googling for an hour yielded ****

I found 2,345 forum posts and videos and web pages on HOW to bleed brakes.

I found 0 (zero) items about the car's fluid capacity or how much is needed to get it done.

Can someone post how much brake fluid I need to purchase to bleed and replace the brake fluid on my '02?

Many thanks!

yep info on how much is not around. 1.5-2 qt should do it unless you keep running it out and sucking air.

Yes, the idea is not to have to stop in the middle of doing it to hit up the parts store or run out of mail ordered fluid. Thanks!

My parts store only has Prestone, Champion, Valvoline3/4 and Lucas DOT 4, is there any reason NOT to use one of them? Everyone seems to dig Castrol and ATE. I don't mind ordering it, but it would be easier...
