Default Bleed the clutch

I would not consider myself a car officionado, but I changed out my own clutch... **** part is I still have the same problem.

My clutch WAS **** so it need to be replaced, but what happened was I was driving down the road and was gonna shift from 3rd to 4th and my pedal goes to the floor and I couldn't shift into gears. I jammed it into third, drove a little ways and got it towed the next day. People I asked said the clutch went out. So I went through the motions, changed it but now my pedal is still loose as **** and I can't shift, I can start it in gear(first) and hobble it a little ways, it goes on its own when its in gear. the clutch kind of works, if I let off it too fast it'll stall. Now people are tellin me I need to bleed it. what the ****? any info on what is wrong with it, or any how to at least bleed my clutch. its an 89 rs... nothing special.

You should only need to bleed the clutch when you break open the line or run it out of fluid.
Sounds more like one of the two cylinders is going bad. Have a friend step on the clutch and you look for leaks.

I had the exact problem on one of my previous cars. Either the clutch master or slave went out, the seals in these parts wear out and let hydrolic pressure leak past them, there won't nessesarily be any external leakage, What you need to check for is little or no release fork actuation, which is more than likely what you'll find, bleeding the system won't help in this case.
