HELP my car keeps over heating !!!!

Default HELP my car keeps over heating !!!!

i have a 98 camaro (3.8 lt) it keeps overheating i change the thermostat it still overheated then i changed the water pump and same thing.. i have even changed the radiator cap and flushed the radiator... i had a friend put it on a machine and it doesnt have a cracked head and head gaskets are fairly new... what is wrong?!?!?!

How hot does it get, and when does it get hot? Are the fans working? Check engine light lit?

bout 240 250... it gets hot within 4 miles of my house and gets hot while idling... fans seem to work... and yes check engine light is on

If there is a auto parts store.close by take it there and have the codes pulled. if not see if any if your friends or family have a reader. If u post the codes someone could probably help you

First thing you should do is to get the thing scanned and see what it is complaining about.

its not recommended by alot of people (esspecially here in florida) but i run mine with out a thermostat where it is constantly moving but it take a while for it to heat up
