Default Charcoal in the evap line.

There is charcoal like substances in the vapor canister line. Why would there be charcoal clogging up the line? I'm guessing I have to replace the charcoal canister? I've just replaced the fuel lines about 2 weeks ago but this problem was ongoing before I replaced them. I thought the lines were just clogged up, now with new lines, the evap line still clogs. Btw my car is a 94 Z28.

i would say your right, replace the evap canister and either clear the line or replace it. test the pressure control valve and purge solenoid. https://camaroforums.com/forum/lt1-l...-system-51219/

Ok. Is it necessary to release the fuel pressure? I'm doing this job within the next couple of days. Purge solenoid was clogged up pretty bad too.
