yes the fans come on when it goes into diagnostic mode. i called the company rep and the guy took me through a few years and he had me do a truck one. nothing happened until we tried the 92. i would think a 94 would be a 93 94 95. could depend on the scanner though.

92 worked!!!!!3 codes 23, 27,28.
And I found those codes lead to a blown 20 amp air pump fuse in the engine compartment. I replaced it a week or so ago and now its blown again. I just replaced it again and put 40 miles on it, so far so good. no engine light and the fuse is still good.
Thanks for your help....

23 is a low reading at the intake air temp sensor, 27 and 28 are quad driver codes. strange that the air pump would cause any of them. my air pump kept blowin fuses, the pump/fan was shot. scan it again in a day or two and see if its still throwin codes. low temp on the iat sensor can cause fuel consumption issues.

I'mhavng the same problem with scanners, does the v6 have a air pump? mine has the fuse and the relay but it has a wire connector that is laying next to the fuse block under the hood with two red wire nd one black one thats for the pump right? engine stalls while idling checked all sensors and found the tpc to only 4.25 volts at wot. any ideas
